Lyric is a robust upright shrub rose which stands 6 feet tall in my garden. The blooms mostly form at the top of the bush (pruning may be required to avoid this) and growth at the base of the plant is sparse so under planting is recommended. The color is my favorite among roses - a vivid pink with yellow stamens surrounded by a white eye. The rose displays good disease resistance and hardiness. Very vicious thorns.
