Euphorbia "Diamond Frost"
(Euphorbia graminea)
Hardy to Zone 10
Bloom Time - Spring - frost
Colors - White
Foliage - Lance-shaped, velvety gray-green leaves
Size - 12 -18 inches tall - 18 - 24 inches wide
Exposure - Full sun - part sun
Culture - Easy to grow in moist, well-drained soils. Excellent container plant. Set out plants after danger of frost and fertilize about every 2-3 weeks with a general balance fertilizer or one that promotes blooms.
Comments - Since its introduction in 2005, this plant has won numerous awards and much acclaim, all well deserved. An exception container plant, it grows in a mound shape and is smothered with tiny white blooms non-stop until frost. It is lovely mixed with other plants or just standing on its own. Although it blooms well in shaded conditions, I think the shape of the plant is neater and fuller with more sun. In shade, it gets a bit scraggly.
