This is an excellent rose in all respects and deserves to be in everyone's rose garden. It is a small compact rose that grows to be about 3 feet tall and wide. It is covered with pale pink buds that open to blush white semi-double blooms . The foliage is a healthy dark green that is rarely plagued by disease. Marie Pavie is an excellent repeat bloomer and will produce flowers throughout the summer. Fragrance is strong, especially on hot days. In short, Marie Pavie offers all the attributes most sought after by rose lovers and is a good recommendation for the beginner.
There are many uses for this versatile rose - it would make an excellent low hedge, can easily be grown in a container or is perfect for the middle or front of a border. It is often found in old cemeteries.
