This is a wonderful salvia and one of the stars of the late summer/fall garden. Performs well in average, well-drained soils and is drought and deer tolerant. The showy flowers appear on tall, sometimes arching stalks and consists of white corollas and longer-lasting funnel-form purple calyces that are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. An excellent plant for the border. Give it plenty of room to spread.
