Foliage - Light green
Thorns - Light
Size - 20' ft. +(climbing)
Fragrance - Strong, musky
Repeat bloom - Yes
Disease resistance - Good
Hardiness - Zone 6
Small semi-double creamy white blooms with yellow stamens cover this dense, twiggy hybrid multiflora rambler in late April. It is quite vigorous and will cover a 20' x 20' area in just a few years. I un unwisely planted ours on a pergola where it threatens to smother out all other roses in its reach. It would be a better candidate for growing up a tree or covering a small building. It has nice green foliage that shows good disease resistance. Also known as "Shakespeare's Musk". A lovely rose and beautiful when in full bloom but beware of its vigor and size. An unforgettable sight when in full bloom, it is too bad that the bloom time is brief and only happens once per year.
